ISLA GALLO, Pearl Islands, has 88,438 Sq. Mts., (22.2 Acres) OR 8 Hectares with 8,438 Sq. Mts., located on the Pacific, right across “Viveros Island Project” , which is one of the new 'under construction' multimillion (over $500 million dollars to be invested) projects on the area;(PLEASE ENGINE SEARCH for further details on this project, using the words: 'Proyecto Viveros, Rep. de Panama'). This new project has airport, marina, 18-holes golf club designed by Jack Nicklaus, five stars hotels, every type of commercial properties, night clubs, theaters, and residential mansions of over a million and 'a quarter, a whole fully-equipped city on an island'!.
The island (Gallo Island) is only 15 minutes by airplane from the capital city of Panama OR ONE & ½ hr. by boat. It is very close to 'Contadora', which is a very tourist Island provided by Airport, Hotels, Restaurants, private mansions and Supermarkets. CONTADORA, the name means Island of the 'teller or counter' as all of the Pearls retrieved in the area had to go through here. Contadora is linked to PANAMA by two (2) 15-minutes regular daily flight. Even closer, is San Miguel, Isla del Rey provided as well by an airstrip with flights from the city of Panama.
As you have probably guessed, the history of these islands is dominated by 'Pearls'.
In pre-Columbian times the Pearl Islands were ruled by an Indian King who ran an operation diving for Pearls in the area. These Pearls were then used for trade with foreigners. Some of the best and most famous Pearls in the world were found in these Islands. First settled by the Spanish in the 16th century, thousands of pearls were found here including the 31 carat, 400 year old Pelegrina pearl owned by Elizabeth Taylor today. Previous owners included the Queen of Spain, a French Emperor and an English Queen.
The dry season is from December to April, Raining Season from May to September and Middle Season from October to December (when you can appreciate at the island, lower temperatures). When it comes to it's Fauna, there are also many of resident birds like Herons, Boobies, Aigrets, Oyster-Catchers, Colibri, etc. There are NO poisonous insects, reptiles (like snakes) or animals that can be dangerous live in the island.
For the shell collectors and underwater photographers, they can find in the rich waters surrounding this island an enormous interest for the great variety of Marine Life. Many colorful tropical fishes, endemic of the Pacific Ocean like this nice 'Pomacanthus Imperator', live in the coral areas. Over 110 specimens of seashells have been collected and studied, starting from the Pearl-Oyster to the large edible Conchs.

The Pearl Islands have a tropical climate, with temperatures ranging between 23 C and 35 C, with the average settling around a very pleasant 28 C. With a total absence of hurricanes and earthquakes, the Pearl Islands are a perfect place for you to relax and enjoy the stunning views.
With the majority of the islands covered in rainforest and edged by pristine white or golden sanded beaches and clear Pacific Oceans to swim in, there are few places in the world that can match this for relaxation. The Islands are not over developed and provide a natural, remote and secluded holiday spot or a unique and luxury permanent life style.
With a huge wildlife population on most of these islands, you can expect to see wild pigs, iguanas, agoutis, parrots and giant pigeons. For bird watchers, there are over 100 different species to be seen on these islands.
For the more active people the surrounding islands are great for hiking, or even a mid afternoon walk through the stunning rainforests. The fertile soil on these islands allows for the trees and coconut palms to reach heights of 80 feet. With some stunning waterfalls and natural caves to be explored, who knows what you might find! Some hidden pirate treasure perhaps!
The warm waters of the Pacific Ocean are very rich in Plankton, abundant in all kind of edible variety of fish like Merous, Snappers, Tuna, Mackerels, Shrimps, and Lobsters, etc. Either from a boat with a line or free diving with a spear, fish is always in your daily menu. Huge Ray-Mantas and Turtles are also moderately common. The Pearl Islands are considered to be some of the best deep sea fishing waters in the world, the surrounding Pacific Ocean area if full of some outstanding tropical game fish.
It is almost unheard of to see a fisherman come back from a trip empty handed, with world records of 16 black marlins being set in the area. Fish that can be caught in the area include Marlin, large Pacific sailfish, tuna, dolphin, Wahoo, amberjack, cob era and red snapper, corvine and mackerel, as well as marine turtles, lobster, shrimp, giant oysters, clams and mussels. This also makes for some stunning diving and snorkeling, not to mention the great view, where you can experience 'watching the huge whales' during season!
The 'For Sale' island (Gallo Island) has fresh water all year round coming from a natural stream within rocks. A lot of fruit trees, including, but not limited to: imported mangos, different citrus, papaya, watermelon, caimito, cocoa, guava, tamarind, avocado, custard apple (chirimoya), nanceé, frijolitos (small type of red beans), cherry, mammon, plantation of different types of bananas and plantains (1st quality). A plantation of over 3,500 Coconut Trees has being planted around the island. There is also Yucca (Cassava), Maiz (Corn), Otoe (Sweet Potato). The rich and fertile soil would as well permit to plant tomatoes, peppers, and many other Vegetables.

The island is a private property, protected by a regular Panamanian Corporation (Sociedad Anonima Panameña). The Corporation can be sold for an easier and faster transaction. The cost of keeping a Corporation is only $300 per year. Local currency in the Republic of Panama is the US Dollar. The Panamanian Government is very stable and democratic, respects and protects all the private properties: moreover, it helps with special tax exemption (20 years exempt of taxes) for all foreign Citizens who invest money with the purpose to promote the tourism.
At the island, the construction of an exotic birds park was began with professional cages being built for those (like us) who loves and finds curious and exiting the exotic bird's life. These cages are being constructed specially for our personal imported from the US (with the proper exporting/importing CITES permits) original from all over the world raised and bred in captivity birds (birds are not included on the sale).
A residential-house architectural drawings resembling a 'castle architecture construction' is included in the sale. There is an already built tiki-hut type ranch (currently in use for the workers) and two (2) “going upstairs” same type (Tiki -hut) entrances.
There are within the island two (2) large (1,080 gallons) polyethylene septic tanks, one (1) huge (2,645 gallons) plastic tank to collect rain water and several other smaller ones. Included as well, there are construction materials (currently using them to continue with the already-started constructions), there are blocks, electrical and plumbing materials and much more.
The island has three (3) BEAUTIFUL GOLDEN SAND BEACHES (size not measured), but you can see the attached pictures to appreciate them, there is an under construction concrete ramp, also ornamental landscaping can be found everywhere within the island.

The asking price (NEGOTIABLE, JUST REDUCED) is US $40 PER SQ. MT. WE ARE ACEPTING OFFERS IN WRITTING
