Province of Los Santos
The Province of Los Santos is one of the 9 provinces in the Republic of Panama. It has a surface of 3.804 km ² and it has 88.606 inhabitants. It borders with the province of Herrera to the north, The Pacific Ocean to the south and east, and with the Province of Veraguas to the west.

One of the principal attractions of the Las Tablas Carnival Celebration, are the famous “Culecos or Mojadera” (spraying the People with clean and purified water from special trucks previously sterilized specially for this activity) This trucks are located all across the central park, and streets where this feast is taking place, people can also observe a spectacular Carnaval Parade where there are queens from both streets, “calle arriba” “calle abajo” de las Tablas riding on Colorful Cars previously prepared and decorated for this daily activity , and enjoy the famous contagious music known as “Panamanian Murga” that will make them dance and jump for joy
Other well known Celebration in this Province is the “Corpus Christi Celebration” a Religious Fest, Originated in the Colonial Epoch. This fest commemorates The Eucharistic Institution mixed with secular Celebrations represented by different dances that today are part of this region Culture and Folklore. This Celebration Takes Place in the City of The Villa de Los Santos.
The Province of Los Santos is the Perfect Place where visitors will be able to find the beautiful Panamanian Folkloric dress (The Pollea) made on hand. Visitors will also find artisans that make the famous folkloric mask known as “Diablicos”
