In Panama barely there are 125 thousand homes with Internet,

of these homes 73.8 % uses the broad band system and 26.2 % uses the dial – up system through a telephonic network.
Nevertheless, studies have proven that there are approximately 300 thousand navigators in Panama, including all the users of the internet- cafe. Panama occupies the fourth place in Internet Consumers after Costa Rica, El Salvador and Belize.
The aim of many companies is to obtain the major number of clients with access to broad band Internet service, using as fishhook the advantages and facilities that technology offers, such as the enormous transmission of information in lest time.
In general terms, the use of the Internet in Panama is very basic. The great majority of the People use the tool to send and to receive e-mails, to chat or simply to search the web.

In Panama 125 thousands Panamanians receive the internet service in their homes, of each 4, 100 Panamanians have internet in their Homes, 10 of each 100 Panamanians uses Internet including Internet-Café and Business Offices.
An internet café or cybercafé is a place where People can use a computer with Internet access, most for a fee, usually per hour or minute; sometimes People can have unmetered access with a pass for a day or month, etc. It may serve as a regular café as well, with food and drinks being served.

Internet providers offer a wide Variety of plans to benefit customer’s needs based on internet speeds from 128 Kbps to 3 MGbps. Apart from monthly payments, customers must pay fan Installation Fee, that might vary depending in the Type of user.
