Panama VisaAmericans are requested a valid passport and Tourist Card to Enter into the country, which can be obtained through the airlines, as well as a ticket to leave Panama, and/or documents to enter another country are required to entry. Tourist cards are good for 30 days, renewable in Panama for an additional two months. There is a Departure Tax of $20.00. The Tourist Card will be given to citizens of independent countries of the Western Hemisphere, except citizens of Cuba. In addition, it will be given to citizens of European countries, except citizens of Yugoslavia and Europeans who previously were citizens of non-democratic countries. Every tourist should carry a valid passport, except citizens of the United States of America, who only need proof of citizenship to obtain a tourist card. Tourist Visa is required by all except the following for stays of up to 90 days (at the discretion of the Immigration authorities):
Argentina, Slovenia, Latvia, Republic of Korea, Andorra, Estonia, Letonia, San Marino, Austria, Finland, Lichtenstein, South Korea, Belgium, France, Lithuania, Singapore, Bolivia, Germany, Luxembourg, Spain, Brazil, Greece, Malta, Sweden, Chile, Great Britain, Monaco, Switzerland, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Netherlands, The Uruguay, Colombia, Honduras, Nicaragua, Vatican City, Cyprus, Hungary, Norway, Czech Republic, Iceland, Paraguay, Denmark, Israel, Poland, El Salvador, Ireland, Portugal, Slovakia, Italy.
The following persons need a tourist card. Citizens of Antigua & Barbuda, Curacao, Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, Aruba, Japan, Australia, Canada, Mexico, Taiwan, Bahamas, Dominica, New Zealand, Thailand, Barbados, Grenada San Cristobal & Nevis, United States of America, Belize, Guyana, Saint Vincent & Grenadines, Bermuda, Saint Lucia, Venezuela. Tourist Card Prices vary, depending on nationality and also on where the Tourist Card is obtained from ( prior to departure, on the flight or on arrival at the airport). Some nationals can obtain the Tourist Card free of charge (including nationals of Colombia, Mexico, Norway, Sweden and USA).

• U.S. Passport must be valid 6 months beyond intended stay
• Tickets and Documents for return or onward travel
• Visa required, -OR- Tourist Card issued by airline carrier
• Vaccinations - International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever required if arriving from infected area within 5 days
DIPLOMATIC/OFFICIAL TRAVEL
• U.S. Passport must be valid 6 months beyond intended stay
• Tickets and Documents for return or onward travel
• Visa Required
• Vaccinations - International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever required if arriving from infected area within 5 days
EMPLOYMENT OR STUDY TRAVEL

Tourist Visa
• Submit your Passport - must be signed and have at least six months remaining validity
• 1 Visa Application Form, fully completed and signed
• 1 Passport-type photograph required
• Completed Cover Page and Credit Card Authorization forms (print from browser)
• Copy or round-trip airline tickets -OR- airline itinerary confirming dates of travel
• Copy of U.S. Alien Registration (GREEN) Card, if U.S. Permanent Resident
• Letter of Invitation from responsible person or organization in Panama
• Copy of recent bank statement and letter from employer stating position and salary.
