If you just bought a house or apartment you want to renovate or you are a handy man or woman who enjoys working on your house, you should definitely know NOVEY. Their stuff is very nice and they always try hard to help you find what you want. Notice that every salesperson has his or her own department. Always try to speak to the right person - don't waste time speaking to the wrong person, they will only send you to the person in charge of the right department. You may have to be patient, as the store can be very busy and salespersons sometimes have 10 customers around them.

We tried their paint department and it was pretty full. You can have any of the colors displayed in the different palettes -- they will mix it right there in whichever color you want. As they specialize in painting, that department has the most quality stuff in the store. They have a big selection of paints ready to take home, but most of the time you will need to wait 24 hours to get what you want. If you are in a hurry, you
may want to go to GLITTER instead.

Beyond paints, NOVEY also has a service for custom-made bamboo fabric window shades, but they are pretty expensive. You may want to try
GIRASOL instead. Just call them and they will send you a
salesperson with all their catalogues and samples. Their customer service is very fast (you will get your shades within 3 weeks) and it is cheaper than NOVEY.

We also like NOVEY's selection of candles with fragrance. Very effective and you can even find candles with a shade that will look like a real lamp when you light it. Pretty cool and romantic. It makes a nice gift for about 15 dollars. NOVEY can also copy any keys for you on-the-spot. The have a wide selection of cooking supplies as well as garden
furniture, bedding, wires, pet stuff, cloves. And don't forget to pass by their FREE popcorn cart! Everybody loves free popcorn, right?
