Beaches are the main attractions at the Costa Rica. Beaches are the first choice, be it anything, from a vacation home to development site from a beach lot to primary residence. The coastal areas have become popular thus making it valuable and good investment opportunity.

The Pacific and the Atlantic, or Caribbean, all have different cultures and beliefs. Buyer should first determine which of the both sides they would want their place to live or invest on. Due to the different cultures, they attract different types of people. For example, the Caribbean has very few beaches. These beaches are accessible by a plane of a car. It has the largest cruise ship and cargo port in Costa Rica but there is only single main town which is called the Port City of Limon thus not making it an ideal beach town. This area is not exploited by the North American visitors as it is in the Pacific side, for its sunny beaches. The atmosphere here is the mixture of Caribbean Islands and East Coast traditions. Till now the prices of Costa Ricam beachfront real estate have not touched the skies and intensified the high end property investor but if the environment and traditions here are your interests then you should not waste your time and visit these beaches to discover your place to live.

The first thing that investors would observe while travelling the central valley in towards Pacific Coast is the International Airport in Liberia. With the opening of this airport the prices of the real estate boomed big time. No other coastal region is growing as fast as this region is growing. Guanacaste Coast has the most famous and talked about Real Estate investment beach communities in Costa Rica. In support of the popularity the prices of Real Estate can be considered as evidence. The prices of beachfront homes in Costa Rica are increasing day by day and the beach communities of Junquillal, Tamarindo , CoCo, Ocotal, Conchal , Flamingo, Brasilito, Portrero, Grande, Hermosa, Langosta and Playas Panama are all booming. If you still haven’t bought any property there then you might already have been very late.

It is not easy to reach the beaches but still there is rise in real estate and it is continuing to rise because of the amazing beauty of these beaches. Although the beach areas like Playas Nosara, Punta Islita, Carrillo and Samara are easily reachable by air. Daily the local carrier Sansa flies to both the Punta Islita and the Nosara Beach.

The coasts further down, Southern Nicoya Peninsula, can be accessed by land and ferry and air. Montezuma, Playa Tambor, and Mal Pais are not easily accessible but they are very well known for their beauty and seclusion. They are the remote areas. Socialites and celebrities particularly found Mal Pais in order to have the best clandestine vacation and restaurants and small hotels in the country. Even at these places real estate’s prices raised noticeably three times in the past 5 years. If an entrepreneur still plans to buy at parcel of land, he could still be able to get good returns from it as and when population in this area grows.

Pacific coast includes some of the very beautiful and famous beach properties in whole of the Costa Rica. It is close to San Jose which has an international airport and is the major metropolitan city. This does benefit the Pacific coast as it is close to San Jose and comes in the limelight. These beach communities can be easily reached by car and have had been a tourist based community since long. Playa Jaco has experienced a huge growth as it is the closest beach to San Jose. The majority of investments are being made on the condos. There is plenty of space, locations and styles available.

Few years back Playa Hermosa was known as a sleepy little surfing village but it has grown so fast and it is amongst the most desirable destinations. The beauty of it has kept the investors wanting to invest there. Hermosa and Jaco were benefited by the marina. The highway is beautiful in Dominical. This results into the increase in popularity of the beach towns along the highway with the investment crowd.
