Full-time | Monday–Friday, U.S. Central Time | Long-term position
We're a U.S.-based home services company (roofing, tree service, and related trades) in the Houston, Texas area, and we're hiring a phone-confident Virtual Assistant whose #1 job is turning leads into booked appointments.
This is not a data-entry role. You'll be on the phone every day.
What you'll do:
Call new leads quickly after they come in (speed-to-lead is everything in our business)
Follow up with older leads by phone, text, and email until they book or say no
Book estimate appointments directly onto our calendar
Confirm and remind customers about upcoming appointments to reduce no-shows
Log every call and outcome in our CRM (we'll train you on our tools)
Send a simple end-of-day summary: calls made, conversations had, appointments booked
What we're looking for:
Excellent spoken English — clear, confident, and friendly on the phone (bilingual English/Spanish is a big plus)
1+ years of experience in a call center, customer service, sales, or appointment-setting role
Someone persistent but likeable — you follow up 5–7 times without being pushy
Reliable home internet, a quiet workspace, and a good headset
Available during U.S. Central Time business hours (9am–5pm CT)
Organized and self-managing — we care about results, not micromanaging you
Pay:
Base: $[X]/month USD, paid reliably every two weeks via Wise/Deel
Plus a bonus for every appointment that shows up — top performers meaningfully increase their monthly income
Raises based on performance, not politics
