It is called the Los Ranchos Project, located near the town of Caimito, just minutes from the nearest beaches of Tamarindo and Avellanas.
The project began several years ago, so it is well underway to complete the necessary infrastructure for a real estate developer.
In accordance with Santa Cruz Municipal regulations, the project was authorized to segregate 91 agricultural plots, each with a minimum area of 5,000 m2, which are duly segregated and have municipal approval.
A vital requirement is the water supply. For this purpose, a well and pumping equipment were built, exceeding the project's needs. This was approved and registered with the MINAE (Ministry of Water and Energy) Water Department.
In addition to the segregated lots, the project included a 7-hectare common area in the lower part of the property, facing the main street, to build an entrance gate, walls, a clubhouse, a social and sports area, a battery of bathrooms, a swimming pool, parking, etc.
The farm has a pit that facilitates and reduces the cost of necessary infrastructure materials.
There is a large house currently occupied by the farm's caretaker.
The required works are:
a) Basic electrical grid
b) Gravel roads
c) Curb and gutter in some areas
d) Sidewalks are not required
e) Drinking water grid
f) Basic stormwater grid
The project was geared toward foreigners who wanted sufficient land close to beaches with high tourism and development.
