In the mountains of the Gulf-facing side of the Nicoya Peninsula lies this beautiful, forested piece of land. The road to get there is a bit adventurous but with a 4x4 car you can always get there. The nearest Village is called Pilas de Canjel and is a sleepy melon worker town for the surrounding melon fields.

The property itself is 19 hectares (49 acres) in size and has an internal road leading to a gorgeous plateau big enough for several houses with breathtaking views over the Gulf of Nicoya and its surrounding mountains. The rest of the land is covered in lush forest with peace and tranquility and an abundance in flora and fauna. In this part of the peninsula the number of animals is even greater since the property borders the big natural reserve of Zooave and the whole area is protected.

The property has a natural spring with good water all year round. There is no public water available and also no electricity but nowadays this doesn´t really pose a problem anymore as one can use a solar system which is even more economical in the long run.

Although this property enjoys a unique sense of privacy the nearest town with supermarkets, banks, clinics, and more is only 15 minutes by car. Beautiful Pacific Beaches can be reached in under an hour.
