The ZICS (Industrial, Commercial, and Services Zone) is located on land adjacent to the Braulio Carrillo Colina Highway, in a 100-meter strip on both sides of the right-of-way. The purpose of the ZICS is to provide the Canton of San Isidro with a concentrated space for the development of larger-scale industrial, commercial, and service activities, thereby creating jobs for the residents of San Isidro. It also aims to create buffer zones for industrial uses, promoting sustainable human and environmental development.
