Why Punta Chame?
Punta Chame is at the end of a long, thin peninsula surrounded by mangroves. It is only an hour and a half by car from Panama City, so it is an attractive place to go on weekends and enjoy the beach sports life.

Chame Beach is one of the best surfing beaches near Panama City. Located a bit before walking the tip, taking a detour indicated as Playa Caracol Residences. You will find a long sandy beach, where you can surf a few “points”.

In Panama it is commonly called this wave “Chame Banks”, in reference to the sand banks that the beach has and that makes the waves perfect zippers with pipe sections.
