The corregimiento de las Cumbres, is a natural area that hides a private lake and is one of the safest areas in Panama, known for its animals, such as lazy, tucanes, monkeys, iguana and the most birds abound in the area you can see parrots, and every bird of imaginable colour.

In Las Cumbres, North Panama, is Cerro Peñón, the second highest hill in the capital, with 480 meters.
