We offer for long-term rent a mountain chalet located on the slopes of the Barva Volcano, Sacramento, Heredia Province. The boutique-quality chalet is on a small working farm situated 7,300 feet above sea level. The chalet includes two bedrooms, a single bathroom, a fireplace, a kitchen, a covered porch, covered parking, and a laundry area; it is available either furnished or unfurnished.

The farm property also has spectacular views of Costa Rica’s Central Valley, and quick access to the Braulio Carrillo National Park (BCNP), one of Costa Rica’s most important cloud forest reserves. Equally important, our farm offers a degree of autonomy and self-sustainability not possible in a city dwelling.

A mountain spring supplies our farm and home with chemical-free drinking water. Our farm has excellent soil, so you can plant your own vegetable garden if you so choose.

The home is a great location for outdoor enthusiasts as well; it is within walking distance to the BCNP entrance (3 km), and the Barva Volcano Crater Lake (6 km). This rental home offers unparalleled access to nature and privacy, while conveniently situated less than an hour from the international airport, and 45-60 minutes to Costa Rica's largest cities of Heredia, Alajuela, and San Jose. Additionally, the Central Pacific beaches are 2 hours or less by vehicle.
